A high quality, top legal 500 law firm located on the out skirts of Cambridgeshire are looking to recruit a Paralegal with experience in Risk & Compliance with a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role. Due to growth, our client is currently looking to recruit a Risk & Compliance Paralegal to join their team. You will be playing a key part in ensuring the firm meets its regulatory and professional obligations. Experience for this Risk & Compliance Paralegal role: Minimum of 12 months experience in a very similar role - not necessarily legal but within a professional services background Client onboarding through to the completion of instructions Support anti-money laundering compliance, including source of funds and wealth checks Conduct client file reviews to ensure they are complete, accurate, and compliant with firm policies and regulatory requirements. Support fee earners by carrying out source of funds and wealth checks for both new and existing clients, helping to maintain robust anti-money laundering standards Contribute to ad hoc project work, including research, data gathering, and process improvement initiatives that enhance the firm’s compliance frameworkQualifications for this Risk & Compliance Paralegal role: Law degree or qualification equivalent Experience handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism Strong time management – able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
