Halesbury is an all age 4-19 Special School for pupils with autism, complex communication and cognition and learning needs. The Role:
We are looking to appoint Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Cover Support across the school).
In order to apply for this vacancy, you must:
* Hold a qualification of; Level 3 Teaching Assistant / NVQ / CACHE or equivalent
* Have experience working with children with SEN in a specialist educational setting and the ability to support pupils during emotional and behavioural crisis
* Experience working across all key stages (EYFS to Post 16)
* Ability to implement Autism friendly practices to support pupils within a class
Only candidates meeting the above criteria will be considered for this post.
Hours: 32.5 per week, term time only (39 weeks per year)
Salary: £20,899.26 (which includes SEN 2 allowance of £1500.55)
