An automated equipment provider is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to work double shifts at their customer site in St Helens. The role involves providing maintenance, breakdown, and support engineering on equipment.

6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm (2 Shift Pattern)

The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, responsibilities include:
1. Perform routine and planned maintenance on customer equipment.
2. Perform breakdown repairs promptly.
3. Record parts used and maintenance activities daily.
4. Support small maintenance tasks on the building as needed.
5. Assist in the development and training of team members.
The Person
Ideal candidates will have:
1. City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering.
2. Electrical competence with a bias towards electrical work.
3. Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
4. Additional certifications such as NEBOSH, Spirax Sarco Steam Training, IPAF, Gas Safe, and Confined Space are advantageous.
