The Role
This position is ideal for an ambitious RVN looking to develop advanced nursing skills in a hospital setting with a varied and rewarding caseload. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to emergency, critical and referred patients while rotating through surgery, inpatient care, nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures.
Working closely with the Lead Nurse and clinical team, you will help maintain outstanding standards of patient care while supporting the ongoing development of the wider nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional nursing care to emergency and critical care patients
* Monitor and manage ICU and hospitalised patients
* Assist with surgical and diagnostic procedures
* Carry out nurse consultations and preventative healthcare clinics
* Perform Schedule 3 procedures where appropriate
* Maintain accurate clinical records
* Support and mentor student nurses and colleagues
* Ensure equipment and resources are effectively managedContribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
Working Pattern
* Full-time position
* 4-day working week
* 1 in 6 weekends
