Job Title: Community Safety Lead Location: Hybrid (minimum 1 day per week in Hemel Hempstead office) Rate: £30 per hour (Umbrella) Contract : Interim We are currently seeking an experienced Community Safety Lead to join our team on an interim basis, providing cover during a period of maternity leave. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to attend the Hemel Hempstead office at least once per week, alongside remote working. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the delivery of community safety initiatives and interventions Manage and support a small team of 2 Community Safety Officers Work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners (e.g. police, local authorities, support agencies) Address anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases and complex community issues Develop and implement strategies to improve community safety and wellbeing Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation Provide regular updates and reports to senior stakeholders About You: Proven experience within community safety, housing, or a similar field Experience managing or supervising staff Strong knowledge of ASB case management and relevant legislation Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Flexible and adaptable approach to a hybrid working environment PLEASE NOTE: All applications are monitored and shortlisted candidates will be contacted via phone call or email.
