As a Workshop Plant Engineer, your main duties will include:
* Maintaining and repairing construction plant equipment to a high standard.
* Diagnosing faults, servicing, and conducting repairs in the workshop.
* Working with a variety of equipment, including small tools, generators, pumps, diggers, excavators, rollers, telehandlers, and forklifts.
* Ensuring timely, efficient repairs and completing all required paperwork accurately.
* Collaborating with the team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven mechanical experience in plant maintenance.
* Qualifications in plant maintenance such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
* Previous experience in roles such as Plant Fitter, Service Engineer, Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or Workshop Plant Engineer.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* A full UK clean driving license is essential.
