Job Specification: Temporary Accounts Assistant
Our client is recruiting a Temporary Accounts Assistant to support the finance team during the migration to a new accounting system. This is a challenging role that requires a methodical thinker with experience working with complex or difficult computer systems. The position is based in Bromsgrove and pays £14 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with data migration between accounting systems
* Carry out account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
* Support general bookkeeping and financial administration
* Maintain accurate and organised financial records
* Work closely with the finance team to ensure a smooth system transition
Requirements
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
* Methodical approach with strong attention to detail
* Confidence working with challenging or unfamiliar computer systems
* Good understanding of basic accounting processes
* Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting software is beneficial
* Ability to adapt and work efficiently during periods of change
