Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire | Full-time | 24-Hour RCVS-Accredited Practice (Small Animal Hospital and Out of Hours Service provider)
Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join us and help lead our dedicated teams at our modern, well-equipped practice based in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
We currently employ a team of 9 vets across 2 services, several of which have either gained or are working towards advanced certificates (medicine, surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology)
???? We are seeking an experienced vet to fulfil the following role:
* Take clinical leadership in a 24-hour veterinary hospital setting
* Guide, mentor, and support junior vets ,nursing staff and veterinary students (Surrey University partner practice)
* Contribute to the continuous development of clinical protocols and standards
* Collaborate closely with the Practice Director and other team leaders on operational decisions
* Deliver exceptional patient and client care
What We're Looking For:
* MRCVS with experience in small animal practice
* Confident in leading a clinical team with strong mentoring and coaching skills
* Decisive, adaptable, and calm under pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement
What We Offer:
* 4 day week
* 1:6 weekend day shift
* Salary up to £74k (DOE)
