Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operative to join our team during the busy Harvest period from July to the end of October. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalanced forklift and performing various seed plant labour duties.
Key Responsibilities:
– Operate a counterbalanced forklift to move and stack materials safely and efficiently.
– Assist with seed plant operations, including loading and unloading materials.
– Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues.
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
– Support other team members with general labour tasks as needed.
Working Hours: Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.Peak hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Experience & Qualifications
– Valid Counterbalance RITB Licence.
– Previous experience operating a counterbalanced forklift.
– Ability to perform manual labour and work in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
– Must be local to Colsterworth or have own transport due to limited public transport connections.
– Flexibility to work varying hours, including extended hours during peak times.
