We are looking for a senior Platform Operations leader to rapidly stabilise and uplift operational maturity while maintaining live operations at a major health insurance organisation undergoing large-scale transformation, including cloud migration, network modernisation, and organisational change. This hands-on leadership role focuses on operational stability, leading major incidents, and improving reliability across internal and vendor teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Stabilise operations and drive operational maturity through improved processes, governance, and service reliability.
* Lead major incident (P1) response, coordinate teams and vendors, and ensure post-incident learning is applied.
* Introduce operational cadence, SLAs/SLOs, and observability improvements.
* Support cloud migration, network transformation, and hybrid environment stability.
* Lead internal teams (~30-50) and vendors (~100) across UK and India.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Director/Head of Platform or Infrastructure Operations, or Head of SRE experience.
2. Proven track record of stabilising live environments and improving operational maturity.
