The successful candidate will have skills and experience in assessment and management of a varied and complex caseload. They will work closely with the wider Children's Therapy Team, including colleagues across four Allied Health Professions (AHP) in children's services, Consultants, Specialist Medical Teams, Nurse Specialists, Nursing Staff, other members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), and education colleagues in early years settings and schools in Wandsworth to provide a multidisciplinary approach.
The candidate should have experience in the following clinical areas:
* Special Educational Needs Setting
* Community Children's Physiotherapy
* Orthotics
* Assessment and provision of specialist positioning and mobility equipment
Greenmead Primary School is a special needs school rated outstanding by Ofsted. The school provides a high-quality educational experience for children with additional needs aged 2-11 years. A friendly and experienced team of therapists, including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Therapy Assistants, are based at the school. The therapists and school staff work closely together to provide an integrated educational and therapeutic model to meet each pupil's needs. Children attending the school present with a wide range of conditions and functional abilities, including those with complex physical disabilities.
