Team Context Programme EUSTON delivers Out of Water Engineering capability supporting submarine docking activities. The programme includes floating docks and supporting infrastructure. The role supports delivery of a Floating Dock that meets Facility Safety Case requirements. Key Responsibilities Development and maintenance of effective Safety Management Systems for the Floating Dock, the programme for delivery and their definition in the Floating Dock Safety & Environmental Management Plan. Develop and maintain Safety Management Systems Update Safety & Environmental Management Plan The delivery of the Floating Dock Safety & Environmental Case assessments and evidence by the Floating Dock Safety Team in consultation with the Programme EUSTON Safety Case Lead and Floating Dock Platform Authority. Complete Safety & Environmental Case Assessment Essential Skills Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status or equivalent experience. System safety policy implementation experience. Experience with system safety management tools and processes. Awareness of MOD Acquisition Safety and Environmental Management Systems. Desirable Skills Maritime platform experience. MOD System Safety training. SEMT training. Nuclear Induction Course (NIC). Membership of a relevant Professional Safety Institute. Additional Information Hybrid working. Travel to Clyde up to twice per month. SC clearance required. UK national only.
