Job Description
East Suffolk Council is an exciting place to work, delivering essential local services and making a real difference to a quarter of a million people across East Suffolk. The Housing Services Team is looking to hire a Housing Officer.
Your role
The successful candidate will be required to effectively manage the letting of properties in a given area patch and to provide a proactive and efficient housing management service for residents.
What You Will Need
The successful candidate will have knowledge and a good understanding of housing law, housing benefit regulations and welfare rights, and experience dealing with the public in difficult situations. They will have at least three years' experience working in a housing environment.
