Department of Chemistry, Chemistry Research Laboratory, 12 Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA bout the role Applications are invited for two Postdoctoral Research Associate posts in Organic Chemistry to work under the supervision of Professor Véronique Gouverneur for a period of up to 12 months. The post is funded by the ERC. Find out more about the Gouverneur research and group at: About you Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry or a relevant subject area, (or be close to completion) prior to taking up the appointment. You will have expertise in organic chemistry, catalysis, fluorine chemistry. The post holder will contribute to the research in the area of synthetic fluorine chemistry with sustainability in mind. The aim of the project is the development of novel fluorination methods for the preparation of fluorinated molecules of strategic importance using readily available feedstock and cost-effective sources of fluoride including alkali(ne) metal fluoride. You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
