GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join schools in Wombwell. As a TA, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with pupils, providing academic and emotional support to help them achieve their potential in a safe and inclusive environment. Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant: Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons. Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils as required. Encourage positive behaviour and promote a nurturing classroom environment. Help prepare learning materials and maintain an organised learning space. Support pupils with varying needs to ensure an inclusive learning experience. Requirements for Teaching Assistant: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
