Job Description
Assist with the provision of an efficient and effective integrated facilities management service within a Council/Partner premise, as well as providing reactive services covering Janitorial, Cleaning, and Crossing patrols across a service area. Ensure the delivery and integration of the Council's key objectives, specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member regarding Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal employment offer is made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant information disclosed will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary full-time post based at Nether Robertland Primary School, Stewarton, until 31st July 2026. The hours are 37 per week: Monday to Thursday from 7:15 am to 3:45 pm, and Friday from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm, including a 1-hour unpaid break. There is a 2-hour weekend security check between November and March.
