Commercial Account Manager - Food Manufacturing — Redditch. Full-time, Permanent. Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (Depending on Experience).
Our client, a leading food manufacturing company based in Redditch, is looking for a results-driven and relationship-focused Commercial Account Manager to join their commercial team.
This is a key position within the business, responsible for driving sales and profitability by managing high-value customer accounts and developing long-term, collaborative relationships both externally and internally.
Responsibilities
* Optimise sales and profit margins across key accounts.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
* Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, handling day-to-day queries and long-term planning.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams including planning, operations, and technical to deliver exceptional service.
* Monitor account performance, identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies to maximise results.
* Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to support business decisions.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a customer-facing commercial or account management role, ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
* Commercially astute with a strong understanding of margins, pricing, and negotiation.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive, solution-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
