Position: M&E Engineer
Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: £45-50k
Our client requires a mobile M&E engineer to join their ever-growing HVAC & Building Services team. The HVAC & Building Services operate across London with various commercial portfolios. The work is a mixture of planned maintenance and repair works as well as reactive works from our call-out service.
Responsibilities
* Maintain, service, and optimise building systems to ensure efficient operation across a range of mechanical and electrical assets.
* Mechanical duties include AHUs, FCUs, HIUs, chillers, pumps, inverters, cooling towers, adiabatic coolers, underfloor heating, and pipework; require solid working knowledge of all M&E and HVAC systems.
* Electrical duties involve BMS monitoring, meter checks, fault finding.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Mechanical & Electrical engineering within the building services sector
* Hold 18th edition
* Have Mechanical qualifications
* Strong understanding of HVAC, plant rooms and commercial electrical systems
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across London & the Home Counties
Salary & Benefits
* Competitive salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
* Working hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
* 23 days plus bank holidays rising with service
* 5-2x overtime rates – engineers often £10k-£15k additional per annum
* Company van optional for personal use
* 1-8 call out rota (looking to grow to 1-10)
