You don’t need QTS for this one, just solid art knowledge, confidence working with young people, and the ability to guide students through exciting practical work. The department is friendly, supportive, and ready to help you develop your teaching skills.
What you’ll be doing
1. Delivering engaging Art lessons across KS3 and supporting KS4 classes
2. Helping students explore drawing, painting, mixed media, and creative projects
3. Supporting the department with planning, classroom routines, and displays
4. Encouraging students to experiment, express themselves, and build confidence
5. Keeping the classroom organised, safe, and inspiring
