Job Title: Groundworks Supervisor – Cabling / Ducting Project (Shetland Islands) Rotation: 17 days on / 5 days off Location: Shetland Islands Team: Supervising 5 Ground Workers Accommodation & Travel: Fully provided About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to lead a small team delivering a major carriageway ducting and cabling project in the Shetland Islands. You will oversee daily works, ensure compliance with safety procedures, coordinate tasks, and act as the site lead for your team. Key Responsibilities * Supervise a team of 5 Ground Workers * Plan and coordinate daily ducting & cabling activities * Ensure site safety, quality, and compliance * Complete reports, toolbox talks, and permit documentation * Liaise with project managers and client representatives * Oversee plant operations and lifting activities where required * Ensure work is carried out to project specifications and deadlines * Mentor less experienced team members Required Qualifications/Tickets * Strong experience in civils/groundworks/cabling projects * CSCS (essential) * CPCS/NPORS (plant experience beneficial) Desirable: * SSSTS or SMSTS * NRSWA Street Works * Slinger/Signaller * Banksman/Vehicle Marshall What We Offer * Stable rotation (17 days on / 5 days off) * Paid travel * Paid accommodation * Leadership role on a...
