Due to our journey through a significant period of transformation and growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Group Financial Systems & Reporting (FSR) Analyst to join the Group FSR Team on a 12–14-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Financial Systems and Reporting, you will be part of the Group FSR team responsible for managing and maintaining the SAP BPC consolidation system. You will serve as a primary business contact for BPC users across the Sysco network. Responsibilities include governance of BPC, monitoring month-end processes, providing support and analysis to BPC users, and collaborating with stakeholders including regional opcos across Europe (UK, Ireland, France, Sweden), the Sysco International Finance Team, the Sysco Corporate Team in the US, and outsourced BPC support teams. The role involves core financial reporting duties and technical BPC system management, including user management, chart of accounts maintenance, and designing financial reports. There is also an opportunity to support Group-wide transformation projects to improve month-end processes.

This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring weekly travel to the Brakes office in Ashford, Kent, for team collaboration, with the candidate needing to be within a commutable distance.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

* Assist during the month-end close cycle, including timetable circulation, KPI monitoring, data validation, and source system reconciliations.
* Maintain FX rates in the system with proper documentation for SOX compliance.
* Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve BPC package/report issues.
* Perform data interrogation and analysis to ensure reporting consistency across the Sysco network.
* Support the development of Financial, Supplementary, HR, Credit, and Annual disclosure packages.
* Process and maintain master data in BPC, including housekeeping of dimensions, hierarchies, and attributes aligned with the Chart of Accounts.
* Manage user access, including setup, terminations, and profile changes, collaborating with Internal Audit for SOX audits.
* Support BPC change management processes, including development and testing of change requests.
* Provide project management support for BPC and associated financial reporting initiatives.
* Track support tickets to monitor technical support performance against SLAs.
* Assist in evaluating new reporting requirements and their impact on BPC.
* Drive BPC training initiatives to ensure positive user experiences across the EU network.
* Support onboarding of new companies, including data mapping, financial integration, and user training.
* Assist the Head of FSR and Project Lead with BPC improvement projects.


Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate is studying or planning to study towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA). Experience in financial accounting and consolidation is preferred. A passion for financial and management reporting, familiarity with financial systems, and data analysis skills are essential. Experience with SAP/BPC or similar systems is advantageous, but full training will be provided. Strong communication skills, high accuracy, attention to detail, and advanced Excel skills are required.
