Job Description: In this pivotal role, you will provide expert guidance across a wide range of HR matters, with a strong focus on complex casework and risk management. Acting as deputy to the People Advisory Manager, you will ensure consistent, legally compliant, and business-aligned outcomes while supporting leaders and employees at all levels. Key Responsibilities: Expert HR Advice & Case Management : Deliver high-quality, professional HR advice in line with policies and employment legislation. Manage complex and sensitive employee relations matters end-to-end, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, performance, absence, capability, and contractual changes. Act as a trusted advisor, clearly communicating risk and recommending appropriate solutions. Deputise for the People Advisory Manager: Provide continuity of service and decision-making in the absence of the People Advisory Manager. Represent the team in meetings and contribute to strategic discussions. Coach & Mentor HR Advisors: Support the development of HR Advisors by offering guidance on casework and fostering a collaborative, growth-focused team culture. Policy Development & Implementation: Identify and implement improvements to HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legislative changes and best practice. Support Strategic People Plans: Work alongside HR Business Partners to deliver initiatives aligned to business priorities, including organisational change, performance improvement, and employee engagement.
