In line with Matalan’s strategy of putting our customers at the heart of everything we do and our ambition to be the 1st choice for value for Matalan families, you will help deliver the 12-month rolling Trade plan to achieve business financial targets while developing strong commercial relationships across the Trade Floor, Marketing, Retail, Ecommerce, and Imports.
Key responsibilities include
1. Assist in delivering customer moments.
2. Assist with the delivery of the overall business clearance strategy.
3. Assist with producing and interpreting analysis of historical data.
4. Assist with keeping the promotional and customer events trading calendar up to date.
5. Assist in multi-channel promotion creation, maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
6. Assist to maintain promotional calendar & weekly offer files.
7. Assist in systemic uploads of business-wide pricing & maintaining integrity of price file.
8. Assist with intake tracking reporting.
9. Assist with the actioning of trade admin requests.
10. Be the point of contact for all pricing & promotional activity queries.
Qualifications and skills
* Educated to graduate level; no matter your degree, we want to hear from you!
* High, consistent attention to detail, always aiming to deliver quality work on key deadlines.
* Experience within a retail environment is beneficial.
* Effective communication skills across all levels of the business.
* Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal partners.
* Excellent presentation and organisational skills.
