Our client is aglobal technology and digital services organisation who are looking for a Finance Analyst to join them. This role supports the financial management of projects by providing high-quality analysis, improving budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring strong financial reporting and controls.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead budgeting and forecasting for project portfolios and analyse variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
* Support month-end and year-end close, including P&L reporting, accruals, prepayments, and revenue recognition.
* Track project financial performance (revenue, costs, margins, and cash flow) and support financial modelling and cost-to-complete analysis.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement, helping enhance reporting accuracy, automation, and financial dashboards.
* Partner with project managers and operational teams to provide clear financial insights and decision support.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, ideally within a project-based environment.
* Strong understanding of project accounting, financial controls, and revenue/cost recognition principles.
* Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
