The Role
We're looking for a proactive, detail-loving Finance Assistant with some Credit Controller skills to join our friendly finance team. Reporting directly to our Finance Manager, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations - helping us stay on top of invoicing, credit control, payments, and customer queries.

What You'll Be Doing
* Purchase Ledger: Raising invoices and credit notes - your attention to detail will shine here!
* Chasing down overdue invoices (nicely, of course!) and securing payments.
* Teaming up with our Finance Manager to manage and report aged debt.
* Working hand-in-hand with sales and customer service to resolve queries - from price questions to repair payments.
* Taking and reconciling payments from our awesome dealer partners and customers.
* Handling repair plan changes and cancellations with accuracy and care.
* Auditing vehicle repair invoices, checking everything adds up, and prepping them for payment.
* Collaborating with customer service and technical teams to resolve any repair-related mysteries.
* Preparing weekly BACS payment runs - smooth and on schedule.
* Being that friendly voice on the phone helping customers find the right answers.
* Supporting the Finance Manager with data entry, reporting, and other ad hoc tasks.
What You'll Bring
* Experience in Accounts, Credit Control, or Finance admin (you've done this before!).
* Bonus points if you know your way around Xero.
* Great people skills - you're a team player who communicates with confidence.
* Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook - your usual toolkit).
* A background in the motor trade? Even better (but not essential).
* A can-do attitude, attention to detail, and a healthy dose of initiative.
