The role of a Service Maintenance and Repair Technician is multifaceted and impactful. Due to a successful year, we are expanding our team. You will be the friendly face providing first-class service and repair work, whether at customers’ workplaces or homes.
As part of our mobile mechanic team, you will attend appointments to complete service inspections, handle breakdowns, provide on-the-spot repairs, and keep operations running smoothly. What will I be doing?
You’ll be:
* A communicator: Master diagnostics and delight customers by sharing knowledge clearly, ensuring they feel safe and cared for.
* A self-starter: Work independently or within a team, driving to various locations in all weather conditions. No two days are the same, with a mix of appointments and breakdowns.
* A fixer/problem solver: Use your technical skills to resolve a variety of issues, whether fixing vehicles roadside or attending scheduled appointments.
* Be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation—your presence reassures and helps our members get back on the road confidently.
What do I need?
* NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience.
* A full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
* Flexibility to work hours that may include evenings.
