Job Opportunity: Maintenance Operative - Fabric
We have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Operative- Fabric to join our team based in Stroud Health Centre Block C.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm.
This role is mobile, covering Gloucestershire & Bristol.
The starting salary is from £28,000 (dependent on experience) plus on-call allowance.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery
* Experience working with fire doors
Additional Requirements
* Driving license is essential
* Comfortable using technological devices to log jobs
* On-call availability
* Industry experience (desirable)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with other technical disciplines
Please note, DBS and DVLA checks are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with NHSPS health, safety, and wellbeing policies, technical guidance, statutory regulations, and relevant codes of practice.
* Deliver scheduled, reactive, and remedial maintenance services as directed, maintaining operational standards.
* Support minor works activities managed by the team.
* Undertake routine repairs including joinery, painting, decoration, plumbing, and general building works.
* Maintain site log books accurately and timely.
* Assist in delivering minor capital works for NHS premises.
* Perform risk assessments before work and adhere to permits or work plans.
* On-call allowance (rota dependent).
* Company van and tools provided.
* 27 days holiday plus bank holidays.
