The finance team at Future is around 120 people centred on Bath with careers in all areas of Finance.
What you'll be doing
We operate in a flat hierarchy with close working relationships through all levels of management. Media is fairly fast-paced and with over 260 brands and several routes to market, the roles offer core responsibility but with a high level of project work that can mean two days are never the same. We're keen to partner with our team members to ensure career development aligns with personal goals and circumstances. So whether you are looking to specialise in a field or broaden your experience we'll be able to support you in realising your aspirations.
During the scheme, you will gain exposure to one of four main finance functions;
Transactional Finance Analyst
* Learn core finance processes of Bank reconciliation, Purchase invoice processing and credit control
* Would suit candidates looking to focus on people or systems development from the start.
* Offer essential exposure to Finance building blocks for those new to Finance/Accounting and aiming to focus on vocational training
Finance Data Analyst
* Work directly on dashboard maintenance, develop data solutions with main users
* Would suit candidates looking to develop a career in Finance Systems or who simply aim to understand our core data structures as a platform for any finance career
* Offer insight into different Finance teams’ data requirements, Management information needs and exposure to how the systems are designed
Finance Control Analyst
* Analyse core finance processes to understand the effectiveness of manual and systems controls. Work with users to propose steps to strengthen transparency, ownership and automation. Track the effectiveness of process change.
* Would suit candidates who want to understand how we check the accuracy of our data at a company-wide level, increase efficiency and protect us from fraud/misstatement.
* Offer essential exposure to Internal control or those potentially looking to go into project management

This is a Hybrid role from our Bath Office, working three days from the office, two from home.
