About the role
We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated Head of Science to lead and further develop our successful Science Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader or an ambitious middle leader with passion, vision and drive to make a significant impact on teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high standards, strong outcomes and an engaging curriculum across all scientific disciplines. The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is desirable, and the post holder will be expected to support and promote the use of Welsh within the department and across the school.
We are looking for an energetic and forward-thinking individual to ensure that this area continues to thrive at Ysgol Bro Pedr, and to contribute to the wider life of the school in an extracurricular capacity. Purpose of the role is to provide strategic and operational leadership to the Science Department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, the delivery of an effective curriculum, and positive outcomes for all learners.
