OVERVIEW
The CAA London office is seeking an Assistant to join their Sports Talent Sales team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Sports Agents, conduct research, prepare presentations, and connect with prospective brand partners, aiming to service clients of our Sports Talent Sales team, including football players, Formula 1 drivers, and others.
Assistants are a vital part of the CAA structure, and it is hoped that the successful candidate will, over time, become an Agent within the company.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading, fast-paced, successful, and international sports and entertainment agency. You will work alongside experienced sports professionals, learn how the commercial sports industry operates, and contribute directly to CAA and its core clients.
Key tasks and responsibilities will include:
* Uncovering, researching, and contacting brands to generate new business leads.
* Conducting general market research and analysis on clients, industries, brands, contacts, territories, and legislation.
* Prospecting new and relevant business opportunities.
* Creating preparation materials for new business meetings.
* Developing new business pitch presentations.
* Preparing client meeting update presentations and reports.
* Providing general assistance to the team with ongoing projects for our broad client base.
* Supporting the team with day-to-day activities, including diary management, travel arrangements, and administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
* Understanding of the commercial sports industry and the nature of a talent agency.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize a busy workload.
* Ability to develop business relationships at all levels.
* Previous experience in related fields is desirable.
