Mid‑Level Software Developer – MedTech, Cambridge (Hybrid) at OSCAR ASSOCIATES (UK) LIMITED.
We’re building innovative software to improve healthcare outcomes. This role is part of a small, collaborative development team, working across the full stack, and involves designing, building, and scaling modern applications that support real‑world medical innovation.
What you’ll be doing
* Developing and maintaining scalable applications using PHP, JavaScript and React.
* Working on new product features that directly impact healthcare professionals and patients.
* Writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to architectural discussions.
* Collaborating with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver well‑tested, secure solutions.
* Deploying and maintaining systems on AWS, focusing on performance and reliability.
* Working in a supportive environment that values learning, growth, and technical curiosity.
What we’re looking for
* Commercial experience with PHP and modern JavaScript (React).
* Good understanding of MySQL and relational database design.
* Experience deploying or maintaining services in AWS (or another cloud platform).
* Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
* A team player who enjoys collaborating and sharing knowledge.
