Deputy Team Manager - Edge of Care Services (Temporary)

Edge of Care are committed to developing innovative, evidence-based services that work effectively with families experiencing multiple and complex challenges, often linked to social exclusion and high dependency on public services.
Within this exciting and evolving landscape, an opportunity has arisen to join our co-located, multi-agency child and family services as a Deputy Team Manager within our Edge of Care Service. We are seeking a motivated and skilled practitioner with a “can do” approach, who is passionate about improving outcomes for families and committed to the delivery and development of evidence-based interventions.
Responsibilities
* Provide this key leadership role with a specific operational focus on the Exploitation and Adolescence element of the service, offering leadership, supervision and oversight of specialist staff working with young people at risk of or affected by exploitation, extra-familial harm and complex adolescent safeguarding issues.
* Lead on the design and delivery of evidence-based interventions across the service and directorate, ensuring the service remains innovative, trauma-informed and family-centred.
* Lead, coach, mentor and support others; contribute to a culture of relationship-based, trauma-informed, strengths-focused practice.
* Drive improvements to achieve sustainable outcomes for families and support continual development of leadership, coaching and strategic skills within a collaborative, multi-agency environment.
* Work alongside skilled, passionate colleagues and remain closely connected to direct practice while developing leadership and strategic capabilities.
* Help shape the future of Edge of Care Services through innovative practice and cross-agency collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience of working with families on the edge of care or within intensive family intervention services.
* Ability to lead and practice in a confident, coaching and mentoring capacity.
* Commitment to relationship-based, trauma-informed, strengths-focused practice.
* Drive and commitment to improving sustainable outcomes for families.
Requirements
* The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
* Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
* Enhanced DBS check with Barred List for Children's (Disclosures & Barring Service) is a requirement for this post.
* Weekend working is a requirement of this post.
