We're looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to deliver hands-on technical support, maintenance, and optimisation of automated warehouse systems. You'll work with complex electrical, mechanical, and control technologies to ensure operational excellence across customer sites.
What You'll Do:
* Maintain, fault-find, and optimise automated systems (electrical, mechanical & controls)
* Provide software support and emergency response when needed
* Support system ramp-ups and continuous improvement
* Work closely with customers and senior stakeholders
* Analyse system data and service reports to proactively reduce downtime
What We're Looking For:
* 5+ years' experience in automation / industrial maintenance / commissioning (UK)
* Strong electrical bias; automation, robotics, or electronics background
* Siemens Step7 / TIA Portal experience
* Comfortable working independently and on the road
* Confident communicator able to represent engineering solutions on customer sites
