About the Role
We’re seeking a qualified and accredited Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our integrated primary care mental health team at HMP Hull & Humber. As a PWP, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, low-intensity cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, aligning with Step 2 IAPT guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct person-centred assessments, manage referrals, and support individuals in their self-management and recovery journeys.
2. Deliver guided self-help in both 1:1 and group settings, drawing from CBT principles.
3. Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams, attending meetings, and contributing to step-up and step-down arrangements.
4. Ensure accurate data entry and maintain high standards in clinical record-keeping and confidentiality.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, upholding Rethink Mental Illness values.
About You
6. Qualifications: Completed the IAPT Low Intensity National Programme and hold a PWP accreditation (BPS or BABCP).
7. Experience: Demonstrated experience providing low-intensity, evidence-based interventions in a stepped-care environment.
8. Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.
Experience in a prison setting or with offender populations is beneficial, though not essential.
