Continuous Improvement Manager
To lead and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the site, driving efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality. The role is responsible for identifying, delivering, and sustaining improvement initiatives aligned to the organisation’s strategic and operational objectives.
Continuous Improvement Manager Key Accountabilities
* Lead, facilitate and coordinate training in standardised continuous improvement principles, tools and techniques, building sustainable CI capability across the site.
* Strengthen problem-solving and decision-making capability within high-performing teams at all organisational levels, increasing autonomy and accelerating the pace of change.
* Support delivery of site profit improvement targets through the identification and management of improvement projects across labour, materials and overheads.
* Analyse operational data to identify improvement opportunities and establish clear KPIs to measure progress and impact.
* Drive operational excellence through the implementation of new processes and the simplification and optimisation of existing processes and controls to improve customer satisfaction, enable profitable growth and deliver consistent, high-quality products.
* Support the development and embedding of Asset Care (TPM), working closely with Operations and Engineering to create robust plans and roadmaps.
* Foster a practical, action-oriented continuous improvement culture that delivers measurable improvements in safety, quality, service, cost and people performance.
* Share and promote best practice across the business, working collaboratively with other sites to maximise learning and consistency.
* Role-model organisational values and behaviours, encouraging and supporting others to do the same.
Continuous Improvement Manager's Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential
* Proven experience in continuous improvement and/or process improvement roles.
* Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to seeing actions through to completion.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and collaborate at all levels.
* Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable change.
* Self-motivated and flexible, with the ability to work effectively on own initiative.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
* Full driving licence with flexibility to travel as required.
Continuous Improvement Manager's Desirable
* Continuous improvement experience within a manufacturing or food processing environment.
* Experience implementing Lean frameworks and applying Lean tools and methodologies.
* Strong leadership capability, including experience in change management.
* Qualification in engineering, food science or a related discipline (HND or degree level).
* Experience in FMCG manufacturing environments.
* Hands-on approach with the ability to work directly with products, processes and equipment.
* Knowledge and application of Six Sigma and/or SPC techniques in a process manufacturing setting.
Continuous Improvement Manager's Personal Attributes
* Highly proactive, with a proven ability to scope and deliver significant operational improvements.
* Strong attention to detail across people, processes, equipment and products.

Continuous Improvement Manager Benefits & Hours of work
* Salary £52k - £55k, Hours of work: Mon to Fri 8AM to 5PM, Company events, Company pension, Free/Discount food, Free on-site parking, Private medical insurance, Sick pay, Training & Development Opportunities & Career Progression
