We have an opportunity for a Leaving Care Social Worker at Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
This is a 3-month assignment initially, paid at £33.30 umbrella.

* Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our Corporate Parenting Young People’s 14-17 Team.

* In this role, you will lead the Pathway Planning process, ensuring that young people are fully supported in their transition to adulthood.
* You will provide high-quality advice, guidance, and practical support, helping them to realise their aspirations and reach their full potential.
* You will play a crucial role in implementing the corporate parenting principles, working closely with young people to provide them with stability, security, and opportunities to succeed.

Requirements of the role:
* Qualified Social Worker
* Fully Social Work England registered
* 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
* Must have significant experience working in this setting e.g. extensive knowledge of pathway planning etc.
