Post: Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer (1 post) Team: Legal Services Salary: to 51, 802 (pay award pending) depending on experience Hours: 37 Mon- Fri, some meetings outside of regular hours may be required Are you a legal professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role where you can use your skills to make a real difference? You would be supported by a dedicated legal officer working within a fully supported legal service with excellent client department focused on improving lives for Bury s residents. This is an exciting time to be joining Bury Council; a growing council and an equally growing legal services team playing a vital role in supporting the council's vision for the borough. What you'll be doing As a senior adult social care lawyer, you will play a key role in advising on the broad range of matters involving vulnerable adults including Court of Protection matters including complex work and you will also play a key role in supporting adult social care colleagues. You will also have the opportunity to provide significant input to the development and implementation of our legal compliance policies and procedures. You will work closely with the Head of Social Care Legal Team to ensure excellent practice. Very good and technical case management platform which performs a variety of tasks and assists in management of ongoing cases. What you'll need To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A strong track record of success. Knowledge of Public and Private Law (Childrens).
