Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Young Person Reintegration Worker to join our team in Doncaster. This role focuses on supporting young individuals in their reintegration process, providing guidance and assistance to help them successfully transition back into education.
Responsibilities
- Engage with young people to understand their needs and challenges during the reintegration process
- Develop and implement tailored reintegration plans to support each individual's unique circumstances
- Provide mentoring and guidance to help young people build essential life skills
- Collaborate with educational institutions and community resources to facilitate access to educational opportunities
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to reintegration plans as needed
- Advocate for young people's needs and rights within the reintegration process
Skills
- Experience working with children or youth in challenging environments
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles
- Ability to educate and mentor young individuals effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgemental approach towards supporting young people
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
