Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting non-experienced Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. The role involves working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We seek flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals willing to undertake full training and qualifications such as Team Teach, Child Protection, and Working with Self Harm.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people aged 11 to 18 with challenging behaviors and complex needs. The goal is to create an environment that caters to their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will support young people throughout the day with tasks like meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. Interaction with professionals such as Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers is also required, along with supporting young people in environments like classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will be required to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations such as family contacts, school, and social activities.
Please note that an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successful completion of our induction program are prerequisites before placements are offered.
