Role Overview
You will work directly with children and young people who may require alternative educational support due to Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, or disrupted schooling.
By providing tailored tuition and emotional encouragement, you will help learners develop confidence, improve engagement, and achieve positive educational outcomes.
Responsibilities Include
* Deliver personalised face-to-face tuition
* Design learning activities suited to individual abilities
* Encourage learner independence and motivation
* Monitor progress and adapt lesson planning accordingly
* Work collaboratively with families and professionals
* Maintain a supportive and structured learning environment
* Travel to learner locations across Fleet and nearby areas
Candidate Profile
* Previous experience with children or young people desirable
* Backgrounds in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, SEN support, or youth services welcomed
* Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable nature
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
* Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
* Access to transport or willingness to travel for sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
