Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to take on a new challenge in the dynamic aerospace industry? This company is seeking a talented Project Leader to join their Widebody Systems Programme team, overseeing a portfolio of critical projects and tasks.
As the Project Manager (Widebody Systems - Programme), you will be responsible for leading and supporting all activities within your assigned project area. This is a high-profile role that will see you working closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Customer Services, as well as managing external supplier relationships.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering project work packages on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Effectively managing suppliers and integrating their activities with the wider programme
- Providing regular progress reports and escalating issues that require resolution
- Contributing to the development of the annual Operating Plan and monthly financial outlook
- Adopting a global 'best for business' approach and adhering to Programme Management and Configuration Management processes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in project/programme management
- Proven ability to manage projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation to delivery
- Sound technical knowledge and understanding of the specification, design, build, and test process
- Familiarity with configuration management and experience in supplier management
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coordination skills to lead multi-functional teams
- The ability to work in a transnationally managed environment and travel as required
