Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Service Engineer with previous experience of working on hydr hydraulics for a successful, well-established Leeds based company.
Key aspects of the Service Engineer role include –
Responsibilities
* Demonstrable hydraulics experience
* On-site service, installation and maintenance of hydraulic systems
* When not travelling to site, work on the shop floor as required
* Travel to customer sites and back to base as part of regular duties
Qualifications and training
* Hydraulics qualifications are useful; the company will arrange training courses (Stages 1-3 at the National Fluid Power Centre). For those aiming at a £40k basic salary, official hydraulics training is expected
* Pipe fitting and/or welding experience is beneficial but not essential
* UK driving licence and ability to work in the UK without sponsorship
Benefits and working pattern
* 36 hour working week; overtime paid at x1.5 for hours over 36
* All travelling hours to site (excluding your commute to the company premises) are paid
* Average schedule could be 2-3 days per week on site and 2-3 days per week on the shop floor in Leeds
* Regular weekly stopovers expected
* Ford Transit van with all required tools supplied
* Float provided for meals, expenses, hotels, etc.
Additional information
The company is easily commutable from most of West Yorkshire, including Leeds, Bradford and surrounding areas such as Harrogate, Guiseley, Halifax, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Selby, Wetherby, Brighouse and Castleford.
