Overview
Scientist, Drug Product (Analytical Chemistry) – Hoddesdon, Pharmaron. Pharmaron is a global CRO helping pharma and biotech companies bring new therapies to life. We support drug discovery through to manufacturing with fully integrated, high-quality services.
Responsibilities
* Perform analytical testing of drug products, intermediates, and APIs using techniques such as HPLC, Dissolution, KF, Disintegration, and stability analysis.
* Support formulation development projects by developing and validating analytical methods.
* Apply core analytical laboratory skills to positively impact drug product development.
* Design and execute experiments with guidance, interpret results, and plan follow-up work to solve moderately complex analytical problems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Formulation Development and Materials Characterization.
* Document and report results in line with GMP and internal procedures, contributing to release testing and regulatory submissions.
* Maintain high standards of data integrity, quality, and compliance with GLP/GMP.
Requirements
* BSc (Hons) or MSc in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry.
* Relevant experience in an Analytical Chemistry laboratory.
* Significant expertise in HPLC and Dissolution methods.
* Hands-on expertise and up-to-date knowledge of other analytical methodologies.
* Experience working to GLP and GMP.
