Senior Financial Accountant

Hybrid 2 days in the office each week
We're helping an established retail/automotive business with operations in 10 countries find an experienced Financial Accountant to join the team. This is a pivotal role in the company where you'll establish a full controls environment to enable a period of continued growth.
What you'll be doing:
* help set-up a world class group reporting structure
* lead the business through a period of exciting growth and change
* help shape how finance works
* Supporting with the implementation of ERP Systems
* Drafting Group Accounting Policies and Procedures
* Accounting for hedging instruments
* Purchase price accounting for the FEP acquisition
* Cash management and treasury relationship
* Supporting with Debt Covenant reporting
* Ownership of the Group balance sheet reconciliation tool and having oversight over teams completion
* IFRS 16 and lease accounting for the Group
* SSC expenses and accruals
* Overseeing Europe entities accounting and month end
* Working with the audit team and tax advisors
* Supporting or deputising for other Financial Controllers or Finance Director as required
Who you'll be:
* A fully qualified accountant (ideally ACA, but could be ACCA)
* we would consider those still in audit and wanting to move out
* ambition, energetic, and full of enthusiasm
