What’s the role?
We are currently seeking a team of skilled and passionate individuals to join our client’s team as a Claims Specialist / Case Manager / Claims Manager .
This role is crucial for handling escalations to the Financial Ombudsman, AFCA, when claims related to improperly sold insurance are denied by financial institutions.
If you have a background in finance or legal, and a strong desire to advocate on behalf of consumers, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This is a 2 year fixed term contract opportunity to work for a fantastic brand, in a positive and dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Reviewing highly complex customer files specifically around mis-sold insurance
2. Working on complex claims that are being escalated to the Financial Ombudsman and AFCA
3. Working with the customers for compensation and ensuring positive outcomes
Skills & Experience required:
4. A background in Legal or Finance is preferrable
5. High attention to detail with an investigative approach
6. Proficient negotiation skills to settle disputes with financial institutions
7. Possess excellent communication and writing skills with a positive, proactive attitude
