This full-time role involves providing 1:1 and small-group support, focusing on helping pupils overcome behavioural, emotional, and learning barriers to ensure they can fully access the curriculum and enjoy school life. Key Responsibilities Provide targeted behaviour and learning support to pupils with a range of SEND needs. Implement, review and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a consistent and effective approach for each child. Promote a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels safe and supported. Use de-escalation and positive behaviour management techniques to help pupils regulate and engage. What We're Looking For Experience supporting children with SEN or challenging behaviour, ideally in a school or care setting. A patient, resilient and caring approach. Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards engaging pupils in their learning.
