Are you interested in a new career in butchery in a unique farm to fork setting? \n\nAt Carphin Farm, we sustainably manage our deer population as part of our overall land and conservation management. As this has become a key part of life at Carphin, we are looking to develop a farm to fork business, focusing on venison initially, and hopefully beef and pork in future.\n\nWe have an exciting role available for an individual with a genuine interest in butchery. The job and training have excellent potential for growth for someone keen to learn and grow within a small team. Due to the seasonal nature of deer management, the role may also involve assisting in other areas of the 360-acre farm.\n\nAll training, as required, will be provided by an experienced venison butcher and we will work in conjunction with Craft Skills Scotland towards SCQF qualifications.\n\nIf you are interested and would like to find out more, contact sabrina@carphinfarm.com. A CV and cover letter would be welcome. The farm is in a rural setting in North East Fife therefore own transport may be necessary. Hours worked and salary can be discussed at interview.
