Join Legal & General’s Corporate Affairs team as a PR Manager focused on Campaigns & Retail PR. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver strategic communications for our DC & Workplace Savings business – a key commercial priority. You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team, helping to enhance our reputation and support business growth through impactful storytelling and media engagement.
What you'll be doing:
1. Managing the delivery of the strategic PR plan in collaboration with the Senior PR Manager and external agencies
2. Overseeing the PR calendar and aligning activity with marketing and social media teams
3. Supporting day-to-day press activity, including identifying opportunities and handling media enquiries
4. Drafting and editing compelling content such as press releases, articles, and social media posts
5. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to source engaging content
6. Monitoring the news agenda to identify proactive and reactive media opportunities
7. Evaluating the impact of PR campaigns and supporting the implementation of the social media strategy
8. Ensuring all communications are compliant with regulatory and data protection requirements
Qualifications - Who we're looking for:
1. Demonstrated experience in a PR role, ideally within an agency or regulated environment
2. Strong media relations skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities
3. Excellent writing and proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail
4. Knowledge of pensions, retirement, or financial services is desirable
5. Familiarity with social media and digital platforms and their role in PR
6. A creative, adaptable mindset with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
7. A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed
8. A genuine interest in current affairs and a passion for impactful communication
