What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
* Transport Planning & Execution – Ensure on-time deliveries and loading schedules through effective planning, problem-solving, and coordination with all stakeholders.
* Shipment Coordination – Plan, secure, and allocate transport capacity in advance, ensuring customer requirements are met or exceeded.
* Supplier & Stakeholder Communication – Act as the central point of contact between suppliers, carriers, customer service teams, and internal departments, ensuring booking instructions are accurate, timely, and transparent.
* Operational Excellence – Execute daily logistics activities with understanding of financial impact, while maintaining accurate records in internal systems.
* Issue Resolution & Risk Management – Proactively identify and escalate shipment irregularities, volume fluctuations, and customs-related issues to minimise disruptions.
* Time-Critical Cargo Monitoring – Track urgent shipments, communicate delays or exceptions promptly, including cost approvals where necessary.
* Customer-Focused Problem Solving – Provide clear alternatives and solutions in case of disruptions, ensuring smooth, customer-focused logistics operations.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
* A solid understanding of Customs regulations and international trade compliance (advantageous but not essential).
* Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality standards.
* Resilience under pressure and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving market and customer demands.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build collaborative relationships across suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
* A growth mindset – eager to learn, open to feedback, and motivated for ongoing training and professional development.
* Excellent organisational, planning, and logistics administration skills with the ability to manage complex transport schedules.
* Solution-focused, proactive team player who can also work independently when needed.
