Our client are a young innovative andfast paced family run company here to push boundaries to ensure weremain the best at what they do.
They are currently looking for aParts Manager to lead their busy multi brand site in Motherwell aspart of the Parts department on a full time permanent basis. Youwill take ownership of the parts department and be responsible fordriving sales managing the parts team and fulfilling customerneeds.
Role andResponsibilities:
Manage the day to day running of thedepartment and set clear targets monitor team performance andprovide regular updates through regular individual 121s.
Formulate andimplement action plans to increase parts sales and control cost andensure the department is fully compliant to our clients partsprocedures.
Minimise aged stock profile in line withcompany policy.
Ensure all cash received issecured and accountedfor.
Select parts as required for trade andworkshop techs and ensure they are booked outaccordingly.
Check all deliveries received against allpaperwork received and log / sort any discrepancies and book partsin and out of stock and stored in their correctlocations.
Label and package all warranty returnsadhering to company and manufacturer policy andprocedure.
Maintains agreed KPI s by stocking andselling the correct / maximum amount of parts to trade and retailcustomers.
Carries out audited stock checks in linewith policies and procedures (included but not limited to perpetualstock checks)
Meets manufacturers purchasetarget and or purchase target advised in line with the partsbusiness plan.
Achieves Parts departmenttargets through reviewing weekly/monthly accounts operatingcontrols and composite figures.
